Fibre is the most reliable means of transmission. Interference from Lightning, Electric fences etc. is nearly eradicated. This is the highest quality of Data transmission. Data is transferred with the highest accuracy over fibre. There is no degradation of the signal no matter what the distance of transmission. The normal maximum distance is 30km, however special versions can be configured to reach further distances. Average link distances vary from 100m to 3km. The units come in single and multiple channels and caters for various standards, such as RS232, RS422, RS485, USB, X.21, CAN and many more. Applications for use are control of switch gear, Access control, gate control, profibus and many more. Products can be selected for Multi Mode or Single Mode Fibre. Single or duel fiber is used depending on the application. Ring networks with redundancy can be configured. |
